The Gold Trail Union School District Wellness Policy (BP5030) recognizes the link between student health and learning and desires to provide a comprehensive program promoting healthy eating and physical activity for district students.  It is a coordinated school health system to promote student wellness through health education, physical education and nutrition education.  We encourage parents/guardians, students, food service employees, physical education teachers, school health professionals, Board members, school administrators, and members of the public to participate in the implementation and periodic review and update of this policy.

Find out what your school is serving for lunch today, this week or this month! The My School Menus app now displays Gold Trail’s and Sutter’s Mill’s school menus right in the palm of your hand. With just a few taps on your phone you can see menus, photos, nutritional values, and components for individual items and meals. Families can use the app to help plan out their meals for the upcoming week. You can even filter menu items out by selected allergens. This app is loaded with information that allows for managing calories, carbs and many other nutrients that are in your school meals. This is a great tool for parents and students who care about their eating habits. This app can be an awesome teaching tool for parents and teachers by helping students pick the entrees and meals right for them. Check out these features:
